'Uma receita para incendiar a Ásia Ocidental': Palestinos reagem ao plano de Trump para Gaza

■ Em um comunicado, a Frente Democrática para a Libertação da Palestina (DFLP) afirmou que o plano de Trump e suas declarações sobre o futuro da Cisjordânia não preveem o estabelecimento de um Estado palestino independente e totalmente soberano nas fronteiras de 1967, com Jerusalém como capital.
A Frente Democrática acrescentou: "O plano de Trump começa impondo condições e obrigações à Autoridade Palestina antes de alcançar um Estado palestino, e entre as mais importantes dessas condições estão:"
* Retirar o status de refugiados dos refugiados palestinos nas áreas controladas pela Autoridade Palestina e negar-lhes o direito de retorno, conforme estipulado na Resolução 194.
* Abolir os campos de refugiados e convertê-los em áreas residenciais, financiadas pelos Estados do Golfo, com essas áreas e moradias servindo como residência permanente para os moradores dos campos, como alternativa ao direito de retorno.
* Suspender os serviços da UNRWA nas áreas da Autoridade Palestina, fechar seus centros e instalações e transferir seus serviços para a Autoridade Palestina após os refugiados renunciarem ao seu status legal de refugiados e ao seu direito de retorno, conforme a Resolução 194.
* Elaborar uma nova lei para partidos políticos, baseada na rejeição ao terrorismo, ao ódio, à incitação e ao extremismo, em conformidade com os Acordos de Oslo e quaisquer outros compromissos firmados por meio de negociações bilaterais com Israel.
* Uma definição revisada da Organização para a Libertação da Palestina, renunciando ao seu papel como órgão representativo do povo palestino em favor do Estado palestino.
* Após o acordo e o reconhecimento de um Estado palestino, os palestinos renunciam a quaisquer outras reivindicações territoriais.
* As fronteiras do Estado palestino serão negociadas entre os lados israelense e palestino.
* O status legal de Jerusalém unificada como capital do Estado de Israel permanecerá inalterado.
* Grandes blocos de assentamentos e assentamentos estrategicamente localizados não estão sujeitos a negociação.
* Medidas serão tomadas para garantir a liberdade de movimento dos palestinos em todo o estado.

A Frente Democrática afirmou que o plano de Trump parece se basear em ideias discutidas durante negociações formais e informais, particularmente nas negociações de "Camp David II", em julho de 2000, sobre o estabelecimento de um Estado Palestino.
A Frente Democrática (DFLP) lembrou ao público as declarações feitas pelo Secretário de Estado dos EUA, Marco Rubio, que anteriormente rejeitou o reconhecimento internacional do Estado Palestino, afirmando, em vez disso, que um Estado Palestino só poderia ser estabelecido por meio de negociações bilaterais entre os palestinos e Israel. Segundo Rubio, isso daria a Israel poder de veto sobre o estabelecimento de um Estado palestino e todas as suas características.
Da mesma forma, o ex-presidente dos EUA, Joe Biden, comentou sobre a rejeição de Netanyahu a um Estado palestino ao lado de Israel, afirmando que existem vários modelos possíveis para um Estado palestino, o que, segundo aqueles familiarizados com o assunto, significa um "Estado" que seria aceitável aos termos de Israel. ■

*“DFLP”: A Palestinian state has no place in Trump’s plan for the future of the West Bank*
■ In a statement, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) asserted that the Trump plan and his statements regarding the future of the West Bank do not envision the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Democratic Front added: "Trump's plan begins by imposing conditions and obligations on the Palestinian Authority before achieving a Palestinian state, and among the most important of these conditions are:"
* Stripping Palestinian refugees in the Palestinian Authority-controlled areas of their refugee status and denying them their right of return as stipulated in Resolution 194.
* Abolish the refugee camps and convert them into residential areas, funded by the Gulf states, with these areas and housing serving as the permanent residence for the camp residents, as an alternative to the right of return.
* Suspend UNRWA's services in the Palestinian Authority areas, close its centers and facilities, and transfer its services to the Palestinian Authority after the refugees have relinquished their legal status as refugees and their right of return under Resolution 194.
* Drafting a new law for political parties, based on the rejection of terrorism, hatred, incitement, and extremism, in accordance with the Oslo Accords and any other commitments agreed upon through bilateral negotiations with Israel.
* A revised definition of the Palestine Liberation Organization, relinquishing its role as the representative body of the Palestinian people in favor of the Palestinian state.
* Following the agreement on and recognition of a Palestinian state, the Palestinians renounce any further territorial claims.
* The borders of the Palestinian state will be negotiated between the Israeli and Palestinian sides.
* The legal status of unified Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel will remain unchanged.
* Major settlement blocs and strategically located settlements are not subject to negotiation.
* Measures will be taken to ensure freedom of movement for Palestinians throughout the state.
* Implementing comprehensive reforms in state institutions, particularly affecting the security apparatus, education programs, and the laws related to media, printing, and publishing.
* The Palestinian state is not entitled to participate in or join any regional or international alliance.
* The Palestinian state does not have the right to allow new immigrants to enter its territory, except under an agreement with the State of Israel, which takes into account the growth rate of the Palestinian economy and its various economic sectors, and whose border crossings are subject to international supervision.
The Democratic Front stated that Trump's plan appears to be based on ideas that were discussed during formal and informal negotiations, particularly the "Camp David II" talks in July 2000, regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The Democratic Front (DFLP) reminded the public of remarks made by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who previously dismissed international recognition of the Palestinian state, stating instead that a Palestinian state could only be established through bilateral negotiations between the Palestinians and Israel. According to Rubio, this would grant Israel veto power over the establishment of a Palestinian state and all its characteristics.
Similarly, former US President Joe Biden commented on Netanyahu's rejection of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, stating that there are several possible models for a Palestinian state, which, according to those familiar with the matter, means a "state" that would be acceptable to Israel's terms. ■
